ABOUT

My art sometimes goes through phases. One of them was abstract illustration and doodles. One of my favorite artists of all-time is MC Escher, and I think a research project on him spurred this creative time period in which I took a deep dive into windows and doors, breaking planes, and stretching reality. The doodles at this same time I think represent a balance. They are less rigid and more stream of consciousness. 

I still occasionally do these types of art, but a lot less frequently and with a lot less precision. Sometimes I *gasp* don’t even keep them!
