Elika Therapeutics, a biotech company, wanted a new logo that really focused on the biology. At the time, they were developing stemcell and other bio therapies, which is where I got the inspiration for the double helix-ish icon. They also wanted a modern, bold brandmark but not one that was a run-of-the-mill stock font. Taking Poppins and modifying it be unique, but still be able to use as a primary font in their branding package.

Taking Source Code Pro, I modified it slightly to be unique, but still useable primary font in their branding package.
