Sometimes logo requests come in groups. This logo was the second request I received in a short time for a woodworker. Surprisingly, they don’t know each other and the timing was a complete coincidence. Anyway, Mike wanted a monogram style logo that really conveyed wood and would be able to be used as a stencil and possibly turned into a embossing iron. The trick was to keep the grain lines bold enough to be seen and understood no matter how it was produced without being overwhelming to the design.
