The Dawes Arboretum is an unexpectedly beautiful walk in the middle of nowhere Ohio (AKA, Newark). There’s groves of unique trees, ponds teeming with all sorts of wild life – include a swamp grove that had lots of water snakes – and beautiful gardens.
