For Ko Sports, I mostly did digital, but occasionally I would get to create an ad for a local publication or sponsor book for a local sports team. The down side was the owner and his wife believed very strongly that everyone in the area knew Ko Sports, so they always insisted on no contact information. Some battles you don’t take on. The high side was that some of my ads received attention from the manufacturers. In fact, the highlighted ad for Warrior was eventually recreated by their corporate design team and featured in national ads.
